Thrive Ts & Cs
Exercise Screening and Liability Waiver:
All members are required to have a completed and up to date Exercise Screening and Liability Waiver on file. This is in compliance with the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW) and Australian Consumer Law. This enables us to run safe and individualised exercise programs and support all of our clients in attaining their goals. If you have not completed this form, please click the link above to access it.
Hygiene and Client Comfort:
We want to keep Thrive a hygienic and comfortable gym space for all of our clients so we ask you to assist by:
Exercising in appropriate footwear (shoes or appropriate socks). Barefoot training is not permitted. Pilates Grip socks are available for purchase at the gym.
Assist us in keeping equipment clean by using antibacterial sprays to wipe down equipment after use and at the end of sessions.
Bring a gym towel and water bottle to sessions.
Do not attend classes when you are sick. Please inform us with as much notice as possible if this is the case so we can assist in finding an alternative class to make up for a missed class and to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Class Cancellation Policy:
Thrive delivers small group classes to meet each individual’s needs and achieve results. As such, many classes are full and may have clients on a waitlist. To enable waitlist clients an opportunity to join a class, and to allow it to remain sustainable for Thrive to limit class sizes, we ask you to provide as much notice as possible for cancellations.
Cancellations with at least 12 hours notice are considered an ‘Early Cancellation’ and will not attract a Cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 12 hours are a ‘Late Cancellation’ and will incur a $10 cancellation fee in the case of clients on Memberships or the loss of a Pass for clients on Pass Packs.
Please follow the procedure for cancelling classes outlined on our Thrive Account Management page.
Thrive Gym Closures:
The gym will be closed on Public Holidays and for 1 week between Christmas and New Year each year. All memberships will be automatically frozen for 1 week during the Christmas shut down.
Thrive Membership Cancellations:
We require at least 1 week written notice to cancel a membership. If a membership is cancelled with less than 1 weeks notice, we cannot provide a refund of any unused balance.
Unused Pass Packs:
Passes are non-refundable. In the case that you have purchased a Pass Pack but are unable to use all of the passes, you can opt to transfer these to a friend or family member or apply the remaining value to your account at Total Physiotherapy to use for Physiotherapy or Massage services.
The Thrive Community:
We are proud of the supportive, positive and rewarding community that has developed at Thrive. We ask all clients to continue to contribute to and help shape this community so we can improve the health profile of our area. If you have friends or family that would benefit from what Thrive offers, please recommend us so we can continue to grow and be of benefit to more people. All members of the Thrive community can expect to be treated with respect, inclusivity and supported on their exercise journey.
Class Schedule:
To ensure the schedules of Thrive, our Physio clinic and our clients can run to time, it is essential that our classes commence and conclude on time. Classes will commence at the scheduled time so please ensure you are at the gym for the commencement of your class.
Our schedule is subject to change based on demand and instructor availability. We will keep you informed of any changes and provide as much notice as possible so as not to cause inconvenience.
Thrive Communications:
Important announcements will be shared by email or SMS. Please ensure these details are up to date and you have opted in to receive these communications. If you are not receiving Thrive communications please get in contact with us so we can update your settings.
