Our Team are passionate about getting you stronger and love what they do. Whether it is Strength Training, Balance Training or Pilates - there is something for everyone!

Our Clinical Physiotherapists also teach and contribute to all of our Thrive Gym Classes.

Aideen Whitford - Personal Trainer

Aideen is a EQF Level 4 Certified Personal Trainer (Equivalent to AQF Level 4 under the Australian Qualifications Framework). She has a strong interest in diet, health & nutrition and is currently completing PN Level 1 Certificate in Nutrition. She will be running our Thrive Strength classes throughout the week.

Originally from Cork, Ireland, Aideen grew up playing soccer, basketball and swimming. This led her to develop a keen interest in health and fitness. Aideen has previously worked in a local gym where she instructed a wide range of classes, worked as a personal trainer on a 1:1 basis and running semi-private personal training.

Aideen believes health is multi-faceted and likes to take a holistic approach to coaching clients, making sure the process is as enjoyable as possible.

Michaela McGrath - APPI Pilates Instructor

Michaela is an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Certified Pilates Instructor who teaches both Thrive Pilates (Mat), Thrive Pilates (Reformer) & Osteo-Blast Mat classes. She has also completed further Pilates training for Pre- and Post-natal clients. 

Michaela has experience working in highly regarded Pilates studios around Sydney, and is also a Registered Nurse! Her classes focus on alignment, form and technique, ensuring that you perform exercises correctly and safely.

  • Michaela runs our Friday afternoon and Saturday morning Pilates classes at Thrive - Thrive Pilates (Mat), Thrive Pilates (Reformer) & Osteo-Blast Mat
