DON'T JUST RECOVER ... THRIVE!

DON'T JUST RECOVER ... THRIVE!

Our Pilates classes draw on our Physiotherapy expertise to ensure you learn the concepts of pilates, activate the desired muscle groups and achieve maximal benefit from your exercise session.

Each small group session is 45-minutes long and comprises no more than 4 participants (Thrive Reformer) and 7 participants (Thrive Mat/Spines).

Thrive Pilates (Mat)Our Thrive Pilates class incorporates Intermediate- to Advanced-level Pilates exercises, advancing from the basic concepts and beginners movements. Expect more abdominal and glute work, longer holds, and added resistance and equipment. All pilates movements within this class can be modified to cater for all abilities. While previous experience in Mat Pilates is desirable, Thrive Mat can be taken as an introductory pilates class.

Thrive Pilates (Reformer)Intermediate- to Advanced-level Pilates-inspired exercises performed on a Reformer machine allowing for higher resistance and stability challenges. Previous experience in Mat Pilates is desirable.

Thrive Spines (Clinical Program) - For those wanting to commence our Pilates-inspired classes and who also suffer from recurrent or chronic back (lumbar or thoracic) pain or neck pain – we recommend joining our Thrive Spines class. Please note this class needs to be booked directly with our reception and physiotherapy team.
