What is Thrive?
Thrive is a gym run by Total Physiotherapy. It takes our vast knowledge and experience in the prevention and management of injury and health conditions to deliver small group exercise classes that achieve excellent health and performance outcomes for our clients. We know that variety in exercise and individualised sessions achieve the best results. Choose from Pilates, Strength, Rehabilitation and Circuit Classes to achieve your health and fitness goals.

What class times do you offer?
Classes are run throughout the day, from 6am to 8:15pm Monday to Saturday. Click here for our Current Schedule.

How long do the classes run?
All of our classes are 45 minutes, and we ensure we start and finish on time.

What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can exercise in. We recommend you bring a water bottle and a gym/small towel. Shoes are required for Strength, Rehab and circuit style classes. Socks are required for Reformer Pilates classes; we recommend Pilates Grip socks, these can be purchased from Total Physiotherapy Reception for $10 a pair if you do not have any.

How much do classes cost and do you offer memberships?
Click here for all of our Thrive Payment Options. We offer Memberships, 5- or 10-Pass Packs and Single Class options. If you are injured and eligible for physiotherapy on a Third Party or DVA claim, you may be able to attend our classes as an effective way to manage your injury.

Can I claim these classes on Private Health Insurance?
Yes, classes run by Physiotherapists can be claimed under item code 560 or 561, depending on the class, and if you have a condition you have seen a physio for that would benefit from our classes, such as back pain or osteoporosis. The rebate you get will depend on your level of cover. Some of our Strength classes are run by a Strength & Conditioning Coach and are therefore not eligible for Private Health rebates.

How do I book my classes?
Book your classes through our website or by clicking Here. Alternatively, you can contact Reception on (02) 8322 3898. If you would like to make a recurring booking in a class(es), you can simply email us with this request and we will take care of that for you.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require 12 hours’ notice to cancel a class without penalty; be it forfeiting a pass or incurring a cancellation fee. We have limited capacity in our classes and need to give enough notice to clients on the waitlist for them to be able to attend the class. Our staff put a lot of time into planning and individualising the class, so the more notice we receive, the better the service for everyone.

How do I cancel a class?
Classes can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time by clicking the link in the confirmation email you received for the class. An easier way to cancel is by replying to the automated class reminder you receive 2 days before the class or texting us on 0483 967 756 - you can not call these numbers, it is text only. We will respond to confirm the cancellation, just remember to give adequate notice.

What if I can’t find the class I want to book into in the available options?
If you can not see the class you wish to book into when making your bookings online, it usually means the class is full. In this case you can be added to a waitlist. Please text 0483 967 756 with the date, time and class that you would like to be waitlisted for. You can view our complete schedule here.

How do I know what classes I have booked ?
We recommend you add your bookings to your diary or note them down as you make them. You will get confirmation emails once you have made your bookings as long as you have opted in to receive email communications. You will also receive an automated SMS reminder 2 days prior to the class if you have opted in for SMS communications. If you would like a list of your upcoming bookings emailed to you, simply text us on 0483 967 756 or email Reception.

How do I know how many passes I have left on my Pass Pack?
The easiest way to find out how many passes you have remaining is to get in touch with us, either by texting 0483 967 756 or emailing Reception. We will also send you a reminder when your passes are running low or are depleted.

Can I claim classes through Medicare?
No, only 1:1 Physio consults can be claimed on a Medicare Team Care Arrangement (TCA) or Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC).
