THRIVE STRENGTH is our popular strength programme. These sessions use traditional strength training principles to challenge you across a wide range of movements. Using predominantly bodyweight and free weights (e.g. barbell, kettlebell, dumbbell), these workouts will cover all the fundamental movement patterns. These sessions are excellent for people who want to learn technique of strength training and lifting weights in a small group environment.
The key principle of progressive overload underpins these classes, meaning that you will not be doing the same exercise at the same weight for weeks on end. We want you to get stronger and will challenge you to do so. We monitor your progress by tracking our four key lifts:
Squat
Row
Bench Press
Deadlift
Each workout will have two main lifts, complemented by a number of secondary exercises. This ensures a complete full-body workout during each session. Our experienced personal trainer is also willing and able to adjust any exercise in order to suit your level and training age.
Session 1 is delivered early in the week (Mon - Tue) and will include the key lifts of the squat and a row movement.
Session 2 is later in the week (Thurs - Fri) and includes the bench press and a deadlift variation.
Each block of training runs for 4-6 weeks to ensure continuous progression throughout the block. Testing weeks will occur after a period of 12 weeks training to see the results of your hard work!
Whether you decide to take full advantage and attend both sessions a week, or just want to attend every now and then to add some variety to your training, you are always guaranteed a great (and challenging) workout.

Monday: 6:00am, 6:45am & 7:30am Thrive Strength (Session 1: Squat/Row)
Tuesday: 7:30am, 8:15am & 4pm Thrive Strength (Session 1: Squat/Row)
Thursday: 7:30am, 8:15am & 5pm Thrive Strength (Session 2: Deadlift/Bench)
Friday: 6:00am, 6:45am & 7:30am Thrive Strength (Session 2: Deadlift/Bench)
